New Albany, IN — The Koetter Group is honored to have partnered in the construction of the new $9 million middle school facility for Christian Academy of Indiana, which recently welcomed students for its first week of classes at 1000 Academy Drive in New Albany.
Investing in Education and Community Growth
The 44,000-square-foot building serves fifth through eighth grade students and was designed to support both academic excellence and student development. The space includes classrooms, science labs, art rooms, a choir room, a media center, and dedicated education resource areas, all thoughtfully created to meet the needs of a growing student population.
As enrollment at Christian Academy of Indiana reaches record levels, now serving more than 1,300 students on the Indiana campus and 3,000 students across the broader school system, this new facility helps ensure students have the space and resources they need to succeed. The project also included a 2,800-square-foot cafeteria expansion and a new campus entrance road to help improve traffic flow and accessibility for families.
Building with Purpose
Koetter Construction served as the general contractor on the project, working alongside Bayus Design Works, with construction beginning in April 2025. Students officially began classes in the new building on March 2, marking an exciting milestone for the school and the surrounding community.
