Floyds Knobs, IN —Today we’re excited to share that Shake Shack, a beloved national restaurant brand known for its handcrafted burgers, shakes, and community focus, is moving forward with plans for two new locations in the Kentuckiana market — one in Jeffersonville, Indiana, and another inside Oxmoor Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
Strengthening Local Communities
In Jeffersonville, the Shake Shack development along Jeffersonville Town Center Boulevard has received approval from the city’s drainage board and marks a meaningful addition to this growing retail corridor. The location is positioned near major national retailers and will bring another food destination to an area that continues to attract both visitors and longtime residents.
The Louisville location at Oxmoor Center will be the brand’s first dedicated Shake Shack restaurant in Louisville proper. With dual access from inside the mall and from the exterior, this site underscores the continued evolution of the Oxmoor Center as a vibrant community hub. Opening dates have not yet been confirmed, but current reporting anticipates the Louisville restaurant in 2026.
