Floyds Knobs, IN — June 16, 2025 —
The Koetter Group is proud to team up with Whiskey House of Kentucky on a long‑term, multimillion‑dollar project: designing and constructing state‑of‑the‑art rickhouses on Whiskey House’s sprawling Elizabethtown campus.
Project Overview
- Scope: Construction of 12 modern rickhouses using Koetter’s specialized heavy-timber K‑RAX® system
- Location: Whiskey House flagship campus in Elizabethtown, KY
- Timeline: Initiation planned for summer 2025, with phased completion through late 2026
Building on a Track Record
This new project builds on the strong foundation following The Blending House project with The Spirits Group in Shelby County. That development included seven custom K‑RAX® rickhouses and a full blending and bottling facility across 108 acres.
A Partnership with Purpose
Whiskey House of Kentucky, operational since July 2024, is the world’s most advanced contract distillery—built for flexibility, precision, and automation. It boasts AI-backed production tech, brew-specific automation, and a capacity for switching across 19 mashbills across nearly 50 production runs since opening.
“Our partnership reflects mutual rigor,” said Bob Koetter, CEO of The Koetter Group. “We bring heritage-grade construction integrity built around performance and safety—and we ask for the same standard of engineering in return.”
